On June the 22nd the Salmon Arm Golf Club hosted their Senior Men's Open. This tournament is very popular and is over subscribed each year. The course was in excellent shape and the weather god's helped out as usual. There were over 30 sponsors this year and they all contributed to the success of the tournament. The pro shop staff was exceptionally helpful as they were well organized and cheerful....a great way to start the day.

Don Bossenberry the tournament chairman was wondering what happened to the many volunteers from last year as there seemed to be a shortage of help. He did want to thank Tara Ciecko from the office, Mary Bossenberry ( by the way, Mary is married to Don's brother, (Gil), not the way I reported it from the Vernon Seniors tourney!) (Sorry Mary )....Ron Aubert ...Ron Pettitt.....Ken Evens....Dave Belway....the registration belles...Loretta Evans....Anne Mitchell....Lorraine Miller and of course the kitchen staff who did their usual great job....(hope I haven't forgotten any one )
