May 26th, 2001, Seniors Zone II Report
Ponderosa Golf Club
The second Seniors tournament for the Ponderosa Golf Club was held on the 16th of May in Peachland.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend this tournament as I was the Voting Registration Officer for the BC Provincial Election
in Lavington on that same date. All reports I received from the players indicated it was a huge success and enjoyed by all
concerned.... I really feel cheated by not being there because this was a tourney that I was looking forward to all
season...We now know that the next election will be the same date 4 years from now so that Seniors can plan their dates
with out fear of any conflict in the future.
