Please pack your mask! Effective July 27th, we will be asking all our guests to join our associates in wearing a mask in all public areas of the hotel, including travelling to and from the pool and restaurant. You can remove your mask once you are inside your room and while you are seated in the pool area and restaurant. We believe that wearing the mask is the simplest way for all of us to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Thank you for understanding.
Housekeeping and Maintenance

Please note, we are following recommendations from the BC Ministry of Health and will NOT BE providing daily housekeeping services in your room during your stay. Should you require additional towels and room amenities please contact our front desk from delivery. To request please dial “0” from your room phone.

Your guest room has been fully sanitized and there will be additional sanitizing wipes in your room for your use.

We will ask you to vacate your room should you require any maintenance request that require us to access your room. Our team will be wearing a mask and will sanitize after we have accessed the room.

Check in time is 3pm and Check out time is 12pm

Gym is available by reservation only, please see Guest Services to book a 1-hour time slot. No more than 3 guests will be given access to our gym at one time.

Our pool is available 9:30AM – 8:00PM daily by reservation only. Please see Guest Services to book a 1.15 hr. time slot. Reservations can be booked 24-hours in advance. (Max capacity 20 guests)

Carved out of the spectacular benchlands of the Kamloops Mountains that overlook the city, the Sun Rivers golf course, designed by Graham Cooke, is one of the few “true” desert courses in Canada. Offering just under 7,000 yards of memorable golf, players will experience a wide variety of holes which feature dramatic elevation changes, sagebrush, classic bunkering, natural sand dunes, wide bent grass fairways, gently contoured greens and majestic vistas.

The driving range offers five target areas from the bent grass tee deck (Currently under construction due to heavy rain fall 2014). Surrounded by panoramic vistas, native sage on the 2nd hole, expressive sand dunes on the 3rd, elevated tees on the 4th, along with five exquisite finishing holes, golfers are provided with some of the finest golf in North America.  The Sun Rivers golf course clubhouse is home to a fully equipped pro shop and the mouth-watering refreshments and cuisine of Hoodoos Restaurant overlooking the 18th fairway. Sun Rivers golf offers the ideal setting and venue for all skill levels and being located just five minutes from the downtown core  means golfers are out of the car and on the course that much sooner. Play more. Drive less.

Be sure to bring your camera as you navigate through the holes and the housing community it backs onto. The homes for the most part are set well back from the courses, do no need to feel nervous about errant tee shots. You will enjoy the big tee shot and elevation change on hole number 14! Lots of hang time, then your second shot will be critical, as the drop to green is both inviting and a tad intimidating to select the correct club.

Sun Rivers Course Architect - Grahame Cooke has designed over 100 courses across the globe. Industry awards for Cooke include Golf Digest's "Best New Canadian Course" in 2005, 2003 and 2001. Two Kamloops courses, The Dunes and Sun Rivers golf, designed by Cooke were runners-up for "Best New Canadian Course".

June 17th 2019 notice - We have leased out our restaurant to Masons, (a local restaurateur) and they have decided not to open until 11:00am.  If there is a large group coming in, I can work with the restaurant and book them a breakfast if we know in advance.   This will be the same for lunch/dinner we can book them into a private room for their event. 

Tobiano Golf Course, designed by award-winning Canadian golf architect Thomas McBroom. Tobiano golf sits on the historic site of Six Mile Ranch. Tobiano golf course is one of the gems of golf in not only the Thompson Region, but for the entire province of British Columbia. Boasting five very demanding par 5s, Tobiano golf is as visually captivating as it is to play. Score Golf Magazine even refers to Tobiano as a "magnificently sculpted course and an aerial photographer's dream."

Complete with a 10,000 sq. ft clubhouse, golf shop, indoor/outdoor dining facility and enticing practice facility, Tobiano golf can be enjoyed both by energetic beginners and the elite professional. Be sure to select the best tees for a fun experience, otherwise you will find this course very demanding with the forced carries

The name Thomas McBroom, who is the course architect of Tobiano Golf in Kamloops, British Columbia, is synonomous with award-winning golf design. During his 20 year career, McBroom has racked up more accolades than can be counted. However, those of note besides Tobiano's awards, include having 12 of his courses (more than any other living architect) named in SCOREGolf's Top 100 Canadian Courses for 2006, and numerous Canadian courses being named as "The Best New Course" for various years.
