“The Inn”
The Podollan Inn Salmon Arm hotel is comprised of two separate buildings. The main building consists of 47 spacious richly appointed guest rooms, two meeting/banquet spaces, and the award winning Triple Diamond restaurant, Table 24. All rooms boast views of the lake, mountains, forests, gardens or the pool. Select rooms also boast pool side patios.
“The Oasis” building
The “Oasis” building contains 24 traditional guest rooms and is located across the courtyard from the main building. The Oasis rooms enjoy all the amenities of the main building including complimentary wireless internet, HDTV and licensed room service from Table 24. All rooms have a private poolside patio or balcony and exterior entrances. Enjoy quick access to the pool and to complimentary parking! The ground level floors are pet-friendly, offering very convenient access to the great outdoors for your furry friends.

Standard Double pool view: These are the only room types in your contract that are in the Oasis wing. Unless budget is critical for the enquiring guest, these rooms would not be my first recommendation. There’s nothing inherently wrong with these rooms, but the building is older and the rooms are smaller. Whereas all rooms in the main building have King or Queen beds, these Oasis Doubles have 2 double beds. There is no elevator, and the restaurant and front desk require walking outside to the main building. Again, unless a small difference in rate is important to the guest, I would downplay this option because guest satisfaction could, potentially, be lower.
Queen Exec. Standard (main building): Probably the best option for those who want to economize and still be in a spacious, comfortable room in the main building. It’s also our single biggest room category and thus usually provides greater availability (although it’s also our best-selling room type).
Queen Exec. Poolside (main building): A bit more expensive during peak season because of the patios and pool access. However, for those who wish to pay a little bit more, the patios and large sliding window/doors provide a nice “resort” feel.
Queen Exec. Kitchenette (main building): As indicated by the name, pretty much the same as the Queen Exec. Standard, but with the addition of a kitchenette for those that want access to simple meal preparation. Our kitchenette rooms have a 2-burner stovetop, kettle, plus pots and pans, plates, and utensils.
*Please note that ALL our rooms already have microwave, Keurig coffee makers and small fridges.
King Exec, Poolside (main building): Wonderful poolside rooms with patios and king-sized bed.
Junior Suite Lakeview (main building): These are very large rooms with 2 king-size beds plus a hide-a-bed sofa. They do not overlook the pool and do not have patios, but are nice rooms with windows on 2 sides, so they’re light and airy and very pleasant. And big!
