Accomplishments :

Since joining the Canadian PGA in 1992, Fraser has enjoyed over 16 years of professional golf instruction, tournament operation and playing experiences world wide. In the instruction side of his PGA life, Fraser works with all age levels and abilities of golfers, from the complete beginner to the Tournament Professional. While teaching some of the best, Fraser has also become one of the most accomplished Professional Golfers in British Columbia, accumulating a total of 43 local and provincial victories at the PGA level. Fraser also has worldwide playing accomplishments, having played both in the 2001 Australian Open and the 2002 South African Open. In 1999 and 2002 Fraser reached the ultimate milestone in goal of playing on the PGA Tour, twice qualifying to play in the Air Canada Championship at Northview Golf & CC. Fraser furthered his playing achievements by winning the BC PGA Championship in 2004.
Throughout his PGA career, Fraser has become a familiar face with the Vancouver local media, being interviewed on successive times by the Vancouver Sun and Province, Inside Golf, Score Golf Magazine, Shaw Cable and Global Television. In his most recent ventures, Fraser developed the Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) - Western Canada’s Premier Developmental Golf Tour (www.vancouvergolftour.com). VGT was created in 2006 for local Amateur and Professional players who want to challenge their tournament skills to the limits and gain entry to the PGA Tour. In 2007 Fraser also developed the VGT Junior Academy (www.vancouvergolftour.com/academy) which is now running at two locations in the Lower Mainland – Seymour Creek Golf Center in North Vancouver and Northview Golf & CC in Surrey. Fraser’s roles as Commissioner of the Vancouver Golf Tour and Director of Instruction at the VGT Academy keeps him focused with his mission statement for golf in BC: ‘Preparing Tomorrow’s Champions’.

2006 to 2007 - Prepared a 25 event tournament schedule over two years and elevated the sponsorship moneys in successive years as Commissioner of Lower Mainland Srixon Tour

Playing Accomplishments:


2004 – Winner - BC PGA Championship (71, 66, 69)

2003 - Qualified for the South African Open Golf Championship, shooting 69.

2003 – Winner of BC Match Play Team Championship

2003 - Member of the Canadian Tour. Best result at the Telus Edmonton Open- t43rd (74, 66, 69, 74)

2002 - Qualified for PGA Tour event - Air Canada Championship, shooting 66.

2002 - 5th place Canadian Assistant Golf Professional Championships

2001 - Qualified for Australian Open
