Kootenay Golf Courses

Balfour Golf Course - Players will find the front nine carved neatly through a forested region with sand and water hazards strategically placed; while the back nine at Balfour uses the mountains to provide elevation changes from tee to green and a scenic view across Kootenay Lake to the Purcell Mountain Range.  This beautiful Kootenay golf region is also home to world-class fishing, gorgeous beaches and natural hot springs.

Castlegar Golf Club - Located on a secluded plateau overlooking the confluence of the Kootenay and Columbia Rivers, the Castlegar Golf Club is the perfect Kootenay golf location for a serene excursion from the hectic pace of everyday life. Only minutes from downtown Castlegar, you are instantly transported to a golfer's paradise. Enjoy the recent RV park onsite at the golf club.

Creston Golf Club - Professionally designed and immaculately maintained, this wonderful facility is playable from a number of tees ranging from 5300 to 6500 yards, but don’t let the length fool you, the Creston Golf Club has hosted five of the most prestigious championships in the province and offers a great, yet enjoyable Kootenay golf test!

Christina Lake golf Club - Carved through majestic pine trees, Christina Lake Golf Club is a scenic 18 hole championship course designed by the renowned golf course architect Les Furber.  It shows off his signature architecture with elevated tees, strategically bunkered greens and fairways, multi-tiered greens and four holes featuring water hazards. Christina Lake is the first course to play if traveling east into the Kootenay golf area, and ideal to break up the drive from Vancouver.

Granite Pointe Golf Course - This Kootenay golf course traverses challenging terrain and features a number of risk-reward holes requiring precise shot-making.  Be warned however, ‘precise shot-making’ can be hampered by the many magnificent vistas at Granite Pointe, which include the crystal waters of Kootenay Lake, the historic buildings of Nelson and the famed Kokanee Glacier!

Kokanee Springs Golf Resort - Kokanee Springs Resort is one of Canada’s finest championship courses. This graceful track resides in a magnificent mountain setting on Kootenay Lake. Every hole is framed by spectacular panoramic views of Kokanee Glacier and surrounding Kootenay golf region.

Redstone Golf Resort -  Redstone Resort is Canada’s first 18 hole Signature Les Furber designed course.  The varied mountain terrain ensures that every hole is unique unto itself.  Panoramic views of the Monashee Mountain Range and the historic city of Rossland add to the allure.  From tee to green, Redstone provides a magical solitude equivalent to a silent walk through the woods.

Rossland-Trail Golf Course - Situated along the banks of the mighty Columbia River with spectacular views of the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains, this 18 hole championship course (Birchbank) is a fully mature, tree-lined classic.  Known for its large manicured greens and contoured fairways, this extremely well maintained course offers plenty of length and some thrilling elevation changes, a classic Kootenay golf course.
