E-Lesson #1
Sean Richardson, Teaching Professional, Mayfair Lakes Golf & CC

Before:

Lines: A weak grip is causing your left wrist to bow. This position, with your left thumb on the side of the grip, restricts the length of your backswing and can lead to pain in your forearm.

Circle: The grip is slipping. There is space between the fingers of your left hand and the club.

Key point to remember: In our drill, we practiced supporting the club at the top of the Backswing with the left thumb held under the grip.

After:

We have adjusted your grip by rotating your hands slightly more to the right.

Lines: Left wrist is flatter. Your left thumb is under the shaft of the club, providing support. This position allows you to make a full Backswing without any strain on your arms.

Circle: Grip is secure in the fingers of the left hand.

Special winter promotion: E-Lessons available at no extra charge. This service is included with all private and semi-private lesson programs.
