Crown Isle golf resort was designed by Graham Cooke & Associates and opened in 1992.  Crown Isle golf is superbly manicured and maintained,  playable for golfers at all levels, the course is designed in a resort style with a dynamic set of tees to meet the needs of any guest or member. Boasting 11 lakes, views of the Beaufort mountain range & Comox glacier, this Par 72, 18-hole course offers a superb driving range with chipping & putting greens, and practice bunkers.

Over 10,000 annuals are planted every year at Crown Isle golf resort and the landscaping / greens team has been successful in achieving a 33% reduction in water use while still nurturing the golf course and surrounding landscape. Additionally, the use of insecticides for over 10 years has been eliminated and the annual consumption of herbicide is less than a measured cup.

We have designed a wide variety of accommodations to meet the needs of our broad range of clientele. The Crown Isle resort hotel has 90 villa suites with a maximum capacity of well over 250 people. Located in close proximity to the Resort Centre and first tee, the Villas at Crown Isle are comprised of Fairway Rooms, one & two bedroom Villas and even split level suites with a loft! Some Villas offer jacuzzi tubs, full kitchens, living rooms with TV´s and DVD players as well as gas fireplaces.

The layout of Morningstar Golf Club combines all the beauty of nature and possesses a variety of tees to provide a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Course architect Les Furber designed this 7018 yard layout while integrating six links-style holes with twelve others carved out through the trees. Many natural areas have been preserved to add drama and excitement.

Golfers will encounter a few sloping fairways and can anticipate well placed bunkers throughout the course. Our greens are superbly conditioned, combined with many undulations and slopes to challenge even the best of players.
