Big Sky Golf Club (Pemberton)

1690 Airport Road, Whistler, British Columbia Big Sky Golf Club (Pemberton)

Pemberton's very own Big Sky Golf Club is an easy 25 minute drive just north of the Village of Whistler. Situated at the base of the incredibly massive Mount Currie, Big Sky is an impeccable 18-hole championship golf course.

The views are jaw dropping, you may forgot your turn on the green as you gawk in awe at the stunning tri-valley mountain views. This is why Big Sky Golf Club is called "Big Sky". The Robert Cupp-designed golf course features an exquisitely manicured set of links that makes use of ponds and natural vegetation to provide a memorable round of golf. You will get a sense the course has always been apart of the natural topography.

Big Sky golf is the longest of the four championship courses that comprise the Whistler golf community of four courses. If you are planning a Whistler golf package, you have found the right place. We have preferred rates and packages for groups so be sure to book early in the spring to secure maximum savings. Big Sky Golf Club also has extensive practice facilities featuring a 350-yard, double-ended driving range, two practice bunkers, and three practice putting greens, and the Big Sky Golf Academy, one of western Canada’s top teaching facilities offers a wide variety of programs and lessons for every skill level.

Big Sky golf courses also has a very short nine hole par 3 course, so come early and play a warm up round before you go up against the big brother. Bring your camera too, wide angle preferably!

Our group had a wonderful time golfing in Whistler. The 4 courses were all different and all very scenic as well as fun to play. We all made photos every place we went. The attached photo is from the 18th hole at Big Sky Golf Club.

The condos at Fitzsimmons Creek were lovely and close to the golf courses and Whistler Village. We found that walking to the Village was very easy. The only challenging things about the condos were the 2 or 3 flights of steps from the garage to the bedrooms. Also, the garages proved to be a tight fit for 2 SUVs.

Thank you for putting the trip together for us. We are looking to return to Canada in the next several years and will be back in touch with you.

It was a great experience for us all we have a very wonderful time in Whistler. We all like the hotel very much. Those working inside the Delta Whistler Suites were very kind and helpful indeed. Inside the village, we can get our daily necessities. There were a number of good restaurants too.

The four golf courses are so good that we just loved them very much. In particular, the last one, The Big Sky Golf, it is not very challenging. Yet, its layout and beautiful scenery all around is just so good that we spent some time in taking photos. The mother nature was good to us, all through our trip, that it only started raining when we were at the 18th hole of The Big Sky.

Indeed, visiting Whistler for golf and staying inside the village was a good decision. Thank you so much for your suggestion and arrangement. We have passed our good experience in whistler to our friends. And I hope some of them may contact you in the near future for your advice. Looking forward to going there again and meeting you. Thank you once again.

Thank you once again for a wonderful golf weekend. Besides that minor glitch at Furry, everything went off like clock work. We were all in agreement that this was one of our better trips. We are back to Kananaskis next year and B.C. in 2011 when I look forward to working with you again
