Described as both subtle and devilish, it winds through meadows and charges across ravines, reflecting the natural features of the Wisconsin terrain. Meadow Valleys course at Blackwolf Run was ranked #60 in Golf Digest ’s ranking of America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses for 2011/2012. On July 2-8, 2012, the Original Championship course, a composite course of the River and Meadow Valleys, hosted the U.S. Women’s Open.
