Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club features 27 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Like many of the designer's golf courses, there are fast, undulating greens on each nine that make accurate approach shots a priority. The Sunrise/Canyon Course is the most challenging of the three golf courses. The Sunrise Course features one of the club's most difficult par-3 holes. Its challenging fifth hole will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled golfers. The layout features open, rolling fairways and water hazards on a few holes. Its signature ninth hole features a scenic waterfall. The Canyon Course is the longest and most challenging nine at the club. It is a classic desert layout with numerous bunkers strategically placed throughout. The last three holes on this golf course are a challenge for even PGA Tour professionals. In addition to the courses, Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club features extensive practice facilities including a driving range, short game practice area, and two practice greens.
