San Diego Golf
San Diego, the sixth largest city in the United States and where California was born, is now one of the premier golf destinations in the country. The beautiful year-round temperate weather provides perfect days for San Diego golf packages in all four seasons. San Diego golf courses now number more than 80 designs at all levels of play. The variety in design includes layouts to satisfy the taste and budget of any golfer. Desert golf courses are typical of East County, whereas tree-lined and links style San Diego golf courses are predominant closer to the coast. Several San Diego courses border the Pacific Ocean, and provide for astounding views and the challenge of the sea breeze. San Diego golf courses carved along canyons are characterized by dramatic changes in elevation and make playability even more difficult.
It is also a perfect destination choice for things to do off the golf course. Tour one of the award-winning wineries, enjoy exciting casino action (some of the largest in the US). Bring the kids and see the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld or Legoland. Try a San Diego harbour cruise or parasailing, hiking, biking, shopping, NFL Football or Major League Baseball.
