Golf Course Reviews

Lance Kulman of Federal Way, WA, United States

Played on 2008-05-26 @ CANOE CREEK GOLF COURSE located in Salmon arm, BC, Canada

Outstanding new course with elevation changes and great views. Greens are quick, yet hold approach shots. A shot makers paradise!

Gayle Moss of Vancouver, BC, Canada

Played on 2007-10-10 @ EMERALD COURSE AT WAILEA GOLF CLUB located in Unknown, Maui County, United States

Hi
I spent 13 days in Maui last October and played 10 rounds of golf. The Emerald Course was my favorite and I did a pretty thorough review of it here:
http://www.golfgal-blog.com/2007/10/wailea-emerald-jewel-of-golf-course.html

Feel free to share this with your readers and if you want reviews on all the other Maui courses I played, check out this post - it links to them all.

I'll be going back this November for more golfing in paradise.

Cheers
Gayle

Rob Kaczur of White Rock, BC,

Played on 2008-03-29 @ FAIRVIEW MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB located in Oliver, BC, Canada

Just played last week end and course was in great shape.....even though it was 1 to 7 degrees out!! Greens were a little long but understandable with the weather. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape and staff very friendly.
Have also played in the summer and it will just get better!!

Hi Ross, I wanted to thank you for helping set up our golf trip last month. The accommodations at the Manteo were very good and the golf was fantastic. The round at Tower Ranch was the highlight. We look forward to returning to Kelowna or Kamloops (or Whistler?) next year. Booking through you was very easy and effective and we will go this route again. I will also recommend you to anyone else who is thinking golf. Thank you Rob Sim

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your services. We had a great trip and really enjoyed ourselves. The weather held well for us too. Everything was set up for us at the courses and the hotel. You're one-stop / one-call service is really appreciated. As to the courses. The greens on Bear and Quail were playable but definitely still impacted by the 3 week old punching. The greens at Black Mtn were immaculate and that course may soon surpass the others as the best course in Kelowna. It's our favorite so far in the area. Thank you again and we'll be in touch next spring

Just wanted to give you a report on our weekend in Kamloops. The Hampton in Kamloops was wonderful, the rooms were perfect, beds luxurious, the breakfast, was definitely deluxe for a continental. Our first day at Sun Rivers was good, the coarse is very challenging, and weather turned out good, we were worried at first, as the wind was howling on the first tee. The Dunes is a flatter coarse, lots of wide open, not so many places to lose a ball. We had great service after at the Dunes, the coarse marshall was terrific, the waiter was also very friendly. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and also had very prompt taxi service too. Thanx so much, we will definitely check you out next time we want to book a golf weekend.
