Golf Course Comments
Paul Genest of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada
This course is flat and relatively boring. The par 3's are not bad but the par 4's are short and unchallenging. The day we played it was 41 degrees and were made to dump out our beer by the course marshall or leave the course. Totally inhospitable towards customers. I will not play there again.
Dave B of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Views are great although the course is very tough. Our foursome and the two foresomes ahead and behind us did not have very much fun playing this course. Too many blind shots. I suspect that the majority of people will play this course once and not return.
Kurt Leicht of Qualicum, British Columbia, Canada
The practice range is the best I've seen. Balls are included. Beautiful track and tough. What a great location. The front is built on a peat bog and the back winds through the towering trees. Easily walkable. Classic golf.
It is so nice to play a course that does not wind it way between houses.
We loved the feeling that we were all by ourselves on the first five holes. The back nine is more than I could handle but at least I could enjoy the wildlife. The deer are everywhere.
Great fun and the deck is wesome...what a view.
Scott Storry of Edmonton, AB, Can
Course was in good shape, very lush for the dry spell in weather. Friendly clubhouse person. Greens are a little small, but it made it more challenging. Great burger in the clubhouse.
Lance Kulman of Salmon arm, British Columbia, Canada
Outstanding new course with elevation changes and great views. Greens are quick, yet hold approach shots. A shot makers paradise!

Hi Ross,
Just a quick note to say thank you for all of your work for this Kelowna golf trip. We had a fantastic time and the service from Lets Go was awesome. Please pass on our thanks to them. Will be in touch when we plan our next golf trip. Thank again.

hey Ross. just a note to thankyou for you're services arranging our trip this year! all four courses were in great shape and the weather was perfect. did you arrange that too? thankyou! our new favorite course is now predator ridge! our accomodations were very good both in Kelowna and Vernon. our only complaint, it took over an hour for breakfast at Gallaghers. it's ok, everybody has there bad days! thanks again. will be looking to hook up again for next year! Hi Danny,
Thanks for your email. It was a great experience for us all we have a very wonderful time in Whistler. We all like the hotel very much. Those working inside the Delta Whistler Suites were very kind and helpful indeed. Inside the village, we can get our daily necessities. There were a number of good restaurants too.
The four golf courses are so good that we just loved them very much. In particular, the last one, The Big Sky Golf, it is not very challenging. Yet, its layout and beautiful scenery all around is just so good that we spent some time in taking photos. The mother nature was good to us, all through our trip, that it only started raining when we were at the 18th hole of The Big Sky.
Indeed, visiting Whistler for golf and staying inside the village was a good decision. Thank you so much for your suggestion and arrangement. We have passed our good experience in whistler to our friends. And I hope some of them may contact you in the near future for your advice. Looking forward to going there again and meeting you. Thank you once again.
Kind Regards,
John

great course, very well conditioned, top notch but staff are quite uppity overall and especially pro shop and management. i felt talked down to and i have heard many others speak the same so i guess they just want to rely on regulars to survive then. why not try being more nice and not act like some golf god! try that!

Wasn't a fan of this course at all. The people in front of us left us an empty in the middle of every fairway. The greens had pebbles (not sand) all over them and divots. The fairways were extremely uneven and the grass looked like my backyard.
Alex Birukow of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada
What a great course ! No wonder it is one of the top new courses in the country. Lots of elevation change from tee to fairway and fairway to green, but when you are in the fairway, at least you have a reasonable flat lie ( unlike the Rise in vernon ). Our group had a big spread from low to high index, but this place is playable for all levels. All the staff were great. This place is a Do Not Miss if you are in the Kelowna area. Only negative is the lack of a drving range, just the warm up nets.
Dalton Klippert of Panorama, British Columbia, Canada
Well I don't think there are enough nice words out there to describe this course. It was in great condition and the views from every hole are absolutely breath taking. With a course like this the score doesn't matter whether you shoot par or you shoot 100. This course takes all the bad away. We will be for sure booking this course again.
Ross Marrington of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
I played Rivershore in the PGA of BC Pro-Am event this past August. Played with Fraser Mulholland and another Pro -Levi Arcega. I wish i could remember the other amateur friend of Levi's. I played well, shot an 86 with 3 double bogies, no birdies. Our team won and the amateurs picked up very nice Scotty Cameron Putters!
Andy & Gloria Schwabe of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
Probably our favourite course in Canada and we've played many in Ontario, Quebec, PEI, BC and Alberta. Scenic, excellent condition, interesting and challenging.
Larry Kilpatrick of Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada
I had an unpleasant experience playing at Sunnydale golf and country club in their annual Tillicum open tournament. Despite golf carts being available, I was refused rental because they claimed they had a "standing policy" about too many carts following the final groups on the last round. First of all the cart was for my son who was actually playing in one of the final groups and second there were other carts following the final groups. Their attitude was condescending and dismissive, their actions were arbitrary and discriminating, and as a visitor I felt I treated as a second class citizen and totally unwelcome.
