Staple of our yearly golf trip.
always cool up there :(
Great course, but they had trouble this year with winter kill. 4 greens replaced. Only gave us 24 hours notice even though they had our email for 3 months.
after complaining they gave us $20 off round plus a free round later in the year. Likely won't make it back there this year, so it was useless.
greens 2/5
fairways 3/5
sand 4/5
price 4/5

GOLDEN EAGLE GOLF CLUB (NORTH COURSE) located in Pitt meadows, BC, Canada
| So far in 2008 I have played 6 rounds and Golden Eagles North Course is in better shape than all of the courses played this Spring. The course is in great shape and the greens are true and quick. Frasierview was in fair condition and the greens were in poor condition. Guildford should have paid me to play there. I will NEVER play that course again in the early months of the year. When It was booked they should have told us that they had punch and sanded the greens, had temporary greens and had temporary holes to replace those holes that were closed but they didn't. I give them a failing grade for customer service. |

Testimonials from Our Satisfied Golf Clients
Just wanted to let you know something about our group trip to Kelowna earlier this year. At the Quail course, we were all given a $10 credit because two tiny patches of green were roped off as unplayable. Essentially we all got a free sleeve of balls due to a very minor course issue. I (and the rest of my group) was totally impressed by this gesture by the Quail course...something many courses would not have done. That really made a positive impression on us. We in BC sometimes complain about service, but certainly not at the Quail course. They were top notch in every way. Thanks again, we are looking forward to next year's trip!

I've been meaning to contact you, just to give you the 'thumbs up' on our holiday package in Kelowna. The Coast Capri was a great place to stay, close to everything. We encountered a bit of drizzle/rain the first two days, but nothing to hold us back from golfing. We were very happy with the courses we played; and their hospitality was wonderful...particularly Sunset Ranch - I'm just sorry we didn't plan that day to stay there to eat, they seemed to have been the most friendly, and accommodating. A quick note to thank you once again for a wonderful golf weekend. Besides that minor glitch at Furry, everything went off like clock work. We were all in agreement that this was one of our better trips. We are back to Kananaskis next year and B.C. in 2011 when I look forward to working with you again.Your loyal customer,
Rick Albus - p.s. Having the Bears show up at the Chateau and Squamish was a nice touch.

MAPLE RIDGE GOLF CLUB located in London, ON, Canada
Hole: 8 | Length: 123 | Club Used: 7-Iron
| I golf nine holes, with my girlfriend Linda, every morning before work! On this morning I wasn't having a great game but on the 8th hole that changed! I took my 7 iron lined up and when the ball was heading for the green it looked like it was going into the sand trap on the right but instead landed just over the trap on the green. Then proceeded to roll to the back of the green into the hole. We both cheered and jumped up and down. How exciting for both of us! |
