A wonderful, 18-hole championship design located on-site at Rancho Bernardo Inn. This William Bell course is a treat to play with tree-lined fairways, large rolling greens, small wandering streams, well-placed bunkers and warm staff. Don't let the short par-4 1st hole give you the impression that this course will be ripe for the taking because the 205 yard, par-3 2nd hole will bring you back to reality. The 18th hole is a wonderful finishing par-5 with water running down the left side to the small, multi-tiered green. Going for the green in two will need a serious gut check. Also take advantage of private and group lessons at their on-site teaching academy.
