The Kimberley Golf and Cranbrook Golf regions of BC also known as the Kootenay Rockies. This area consists of pristine rivers, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, mineral hot springs, alpine meadows, snow-capped mountains and great golf trips! Four of British Columbia's seven national parks are located here, and wildlife flourishes. Outdoor pursuits here are epic. Cranbrook and Kimberley Golf Courses

Cranbrook Golf Club:
This course features a mature parkland setting – and a pleasing private feel – the course is enjoyable from the opening drive to the final putt. Every hole is framed by tall evergreens accentuating the natural beauty of the terrain. Throw in the classic, easily walkable route, and you’ve got one of the sweetest golf experiences in the Kootenay Rockies. Site for five major BCGA championships and the 2004 RCGA Senior Men’s Match Play Championship RCGA Senior Men’s Match Play Championship, serious golf is played on these well-manicured fairways. In 2006 they hosted the BC Junior Boys Championship which was won by Nick Taylor who  currently plays on the PGA tour! For the recreational minded, there are five sets of tees to choose from making for an enjoyable day for players of all abilities.

St. Eugene Mission Golf Resort and Casino - Designed by acclaimed architect Les Furber, it is a distinctive, easy-flowing course set on 120 acres of turf grass in the 327 acre St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino halfway between Cranbrook and Kimberley, British Columbia. With white sand bunkers and huge, undulating greens, the course plays from four sets of tees from 5,388 yards to 7,007 yards and plays well for all skill levels of golfers for an average course time of 4.5 hours.

Shadow Mountain Golf Course - Each hole at Shadow Mountain has its own character and personality, meandering through mature forests and featuring large contoured greens, rolling Bent grass fairways and rugged classic bunkering that will define each and every hole. The course will reward strategic, patient play from every level of player and take the golfer on a journey that is second to none in Canadian golf.

Trickle Creek Golf Course -Woven through a rugged alpine environment, crossing creeks and diving with the slopes of North Star Mountain, the Trickle Creek Golf Resort is one of the most thrilling courses you'll ever play. Designed by renowned architect, Les Furber, this well established Kimberley golf course has been a favorite since 1993. Trickle Creek features amazing scenery and dramatic elevation changes throughout. Each hole has been carefully crafted to make the most of the spectacular wilderness setting. It offers fabulous views, wide fairways and Bent grass tees and greens. This is a Kimberley golf experience far beyond the ordinary!

Bootleg Gap Golf Course -is a 27 hole public facility designed by Les Furber featuring an 18 hole Championship course and a unique 9 hole course and one of the best practice facilities in the area.  This 18 hole course combines some spacious driving holes with some tighter riverside holes where accuracy is at a premium. The "signature" hole is the 193 yard par-three 12th, which requires a tee shot usually affected by wind to a well protected, large undulated green situated 50 feet below. The 12th begins a thrilling three-hole stretch that rims the beautiful St. Mary River.

Kimberley Golf Club - Since 1924, the Kimberley Golf Club has been a prominent name in golf in the Rockies. The course winds through towering Ponderosa Pine high above the St. Mary River and presents a variety of birdie opportunities in the opening holes. Mountain ranges continually come into view creating magnificent backdrops.

Wildstone Golf Course
Gary Player brings his reputation for excellence and his design expertise to Wildstone. The Wildstone Golf Course measures over 7,100 yards, and embodies the same distinction as Player himself.  Set on the rolling highlands above Cranbrook, BC, Wildstone exposes stunning postcard views of the Rocky Mountains from start to finish.

Course Review: Golf Digest's Senior Architecture Editor ~ Ron Whitten, visited all of the new course openings in North America in 2011 and commented that "Wildstone excels in scenery and strategies, particularly on the short par 5 ninth and on the par 4 17th."  "Wildstone was my favorite round of the year."


You can stay for a week and not play the same course twice! Hotels and multi-bedroom accommodation options are available too for  couples or golf groups. Only 3.5 hours from Calgary, this area is a great option for a quick golf getaway.
